Dianne Solis /DMN more interested in enabling illegal immigration than helping avoid swine flu pandemic

Dianne Solis of the Dallas Morning News is the latest to repurpose a theme started by Media Matters for America. Rather than being concerned with the possibility of a swine flu pandemic, they're more concerned with enabling illegal immigration.

From "Backlash against Mexicans amid swine flu outbreak is criticized" (link):

Civil rights groups and media watchdog organizations are condemning the links being made between swine flu and the political debate on illegal immigration.

Nowhere in the article does she mention that she's getting some of her talking points from the George Soros-funded MMFA. She also includes obviously absurd statements without any hint to her readers just how absurd they are:

Napolitano has said that shutting the border won't stop a virus that's already in the United States.

It wouldn't stop it, but it's obvious that the fewer carriers in the U.S. the less quickly and less extensively it will spread.

In the large land port of Laredo, Customs and Border Protection officials say that if a traveler is identified with a communicable disease, both the federal agent and the ill person will wear masks.

Talk about "closing the barn door after the horses are out".

One of the "civil rights groups" quoted is a local chapter of the League of United Latin American Citizens.
