Flash: Mitt Romney great-great grandson of polygamist!

Breaking news from our "never trust a Mormon" department: presidential contender Mitt Romney is the great-great-grandson of a polygamist!

This shocking news is burning up the wires:

While Mitt Romney condemns polygamy and its prior practice by his Mormon church, the Republican presidential candidate's great-grandfather had five wives and at least one of his great-great grandfathers had 12.

Sure, he condemns it now, but what about then?

America demands answers, and a consortium of liberals - led by the Huffington Post, BrainFireDogFireLake, Hatrios, and ThinkProgress are currently encouraging George Soros to set up a fund to pay Mike Stark to go to Mitt's campaign appearances and scream at him, "WHY AREN'T YOU GOING BACK IN YOUR TIME MACHINE TO STOP THIS POLYGAMY, YOU GREAT-GREAT-GREAT-GREAT-GREAT-GRANDSON OF A POLYGAMIST?!?! ALL LIBERAL BLOGDOM WANTS TO KNOW!"

It's a win-win: this will also help avoid a grown-up discussion about policy issues and Mitt's close links to the Bush family. And, who wants to discuss that?

I wonder how many of us have any clue who our great grandparents were sleeping with and what their jail records might be? If I am a mostly good human being why should it matter what my great great grandmother may have done out behind the barn. Funny liberals keep whining about staying out of the bedrooom but as soon as they get a wiff of a Republican getting a little extra curricular action they become nasty little tattletales. Take your noses out my grannies knickers Dems.

Since I have a bit of knowledge regarding journalists being one who works with them on a regular basis, I did a bit of background checking on these two.

Jennifer actually works out of their Salt Lake City office -- obviously not happy by her LDS surroundings. If you look at her story history, she reports on polygamy all the time. Glen Johnson on the other hand reported from Boston, where they are looking for every possible way to smear their former governor.

The editors and publisher of the Associated Press should be ashamed.

It says something about the personal integrity of Governor Romney that his detractors have to scour back 3+ generations to literally dig up a skeleton in a closet... since his closet is pretty darn clean.

Barack Obama's FATHER was a polygamist...his FATHER,not great great great great great...whatever...
It's about the issues not religion.
