Thomas Donohue, president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, doesn't like you too much

Here's a quote from Thomas Donohue:

"You know, when you come to immigration and trade -- I've sort of come to the point that I don't blame the politicians as much as I blame their constituents."

Per the link, this was in an August 31, 2007 Federal News Service article called "Remarks by Thomas Donohue, President and CEO, U.S. Chamber of Commerce; Topic: The Chamber of Commerce's Trade Priorities for This Fall".

Good post, llamajockey. And thanks, lonewacko for some happy news! The CEO of the US Chamber of Commerce doesn't like the US Citizens too much? Well blow me over with a feather. The feeling is mutual. I am very pleased to have spoiled his day, if even by a little bit. He has been spoiling ours for several years now.

Lonewacko, Credit to you for being careful to specify US Chamber of Commerce. Many local Chamber of Commerce affliates now want little or nothing to do with their throughly corrupted Washington headquarters. At the local level there are still lots of patriotic old fashioned "Mainstreet" Republicans who are painfully aware of what unrestrained Cheap Labor policies are doing to their communities. I believe the same goes for many union locals. Their nationals however have become ceaspools of corruption and loony neo-Wobbly Open Borders nut-jobs. Hanging out with in DC with the Immigration Lawyers and going to the same cocktail parties and banging the same hookers I guess does that. Yesterday the national United Food Workers union was on Lou Dobbs with none other than your best buddy Peter Schey fighting the long over due Social Security NoMatch enforcement.

If Donohue doesn't like Americans, then he should just leave Our Country!

He also said we are: 'as dumb as a box of rocks'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjQF7v72YMg
