I know absolutely zero about Republican John Faso except that he's running against Eliot Spitzer for governor of New York. As the last link shows, Spitzer - despite being Attorney General of that state - doesn't appear to understand our laws when it comes to immigration matters. And, he's just picked up an endorsement from El Diario/La Prensa to drive that point home:

Yep, our yop law enforcement official here endorses illegal aliens. They've flourished in the city since he's been in charge.
Another thing about this guy is that he has actually had the nerve to destroy Indian treaties that have been around for hundreds of years in order to tax them on their reservations. Now I don't know if you've ever been to a reservation, in upstate New York, but it is almost 100% poverty with people living in trailers.
I respect him for his crackdown on corrupt execs in businesses, but I don't think any of those were the ones employing illegal aliens.
Spitzer's going to win though even though I'll be voting against him. Just too many Dem voters in the city that outweighs the rest of the state -- which is red and mostly hard working family farms and the like.
