The Dubai firm that won Bush administration backing to run six U.S. ports has at least two ties to the White House.And, of course: "Bush Says Dubai Port Deal Should Proceed, Threatens Veto"
One is Treasury Secretary John Snow, whose department heads the federal panel that signed off on the $6.8 billion sale of an English company to government-owned Dubai Ports World - giving it control of Manhattan's cruise ship terminal and Newark's container port.
Snow was chairman of the CSX rail firm that sold its own international port operations to DP World for $1.15 billion in 2004, the year after Snow left for President Bush's cabinet.
The other connection is David Sanborn, who runs DP World's European and Latin American operations and who was tapped by Bush last month to head the U.S. Maritime Administration...

Something else you might have have known... remember the Love Boat, it was own by P&O Steamlines.
Lets see... the Mexican Army is guarding the southern boarder. The ragheads are gonna operate our ports. Lets put Iran incharge of the nuclear plants,put the UN in charge of the US military, the USSR in charge of NASA, and Californa in charge of the goverment.
That way Bush and his pals won't have anything to do put teach Cheney how to shoot straight and make Quil hunting safe for lawers.
While this is all going on... I'll be dug in at the Hole in the Wall waiting for all hell to break loose.

Correct me if I'm wrong.....A BRITISH company once ran the ports of the United States? I didn't know that! And guess what?....nobody that I have talked to in the last few days knew about it either! We found out about three or four days ago when we saw it on TV and started seeing it in the newspapers!
And now, all of a sudden, we're hearing about an Arab country taking over where the British left off! Wow! Another big surprise for boofugg!
I have decided that there could only be two reasons boofugg is constantly surprised by the shit that comes to light:
1....The people in Congress, whose job it is to keep boofugg informed, are not doing so; perhaps they are just not doing a very good job, or perhaps they are deliberately keeping boofugg in the dark.
2....Boofugg is the dumbest motherfucker in American, and should be kept in the dark.
If #1 is the answer, then boofugg needs a whole brandy new congress.
If #2 is the answer, then boofugg needs a penpal.
