if even feinstein can smell the roses, er, stench, you know something's gotta be done. but again, i doubt her bleeding heart will have the gusto to do anything about it. jefferson was rightly wary of what we see manifest today: professional politicians are as spineless as they are inept.

Sen. Feinstein may be one of the first major Democrats to be testing the waters to see if border security could swing voters away from President Bush and the Republicans (who maintain open borders/mass amnesty policies). If she receives a positive response, then look for Hillary and the like to put forward border security (although insincere and way worse than Republicans) as a way to get out front on the issue. This issue could well cost the Republicans control of Congress in 2006 and the White House in 2008. What a tragedy for America.
But, if it happens, it will be 100% because of the President's failure to uphold the duties as president and protect America.

To Feinstein and Negoponte:
My friend, Bill Smith and I are glad to hear that you consider the Canadian and Mexican borders to be conduits for terrorists entering the United States. However, we keep wondering why you guys are all talk and no walk.
Do I have to send Bill to Canada while I make that long drive to Mexico and straighten that shit out for you guys?
