Jimbo,
Please, don't be obtuse. It's about top of mind. And no this isn't the same agency that did quizno's stuff, this is ddb.

The campaign doesn't make me want to eat at Mickey D's. I think you probably hired the same ad agency as the one that developed Quizno's sponge monkey campaign. I just don't get it. Next time, just talk about the food! The food actually sells itself.

Yeah it is. If you go to the auction site, it says that the fry is only a prop. Its made out of poly-urethane. But the good news is, as of 2/7/05 it's worth $21,600.00. And all that money is going to charities, out of the pockets of casinos! But yeah, it's really a publicity stunt for McDonalds. Good job on that, though.

No doubt it is a 'prop' for the commercial. The url was splased across the screen at the end of the commercial for lincolnfry.com, and the blog is an extension of that site. So... the question is, did this make you go buying McDonalds fries today? (that would be the underlying intention!)
