Now, as we know, Hatrios'/Duncan B. Black's comment section is like stumbling upon a far-left circle jerk without the joy. However, reliable sources informed me it was even worse than usual. And, for reasons previously posted, I have a bit of a problem with my former 'lancher Glenn ("An audience with the Pope of Blogton"). Nevertheless, a VRWC order is a VRWC order, so I swung into action.
Reading the Duncan B. Black comments, I stopped when I got to one that mentioned "splotchy white trash" or similar. (That comment - along with dozens more - has since disappeared.)
Reading further, I happened upon this later comment:
Ric, you're obviously an ignorant plant designed to sap our energy away from our discussion.

Don't you realize Ric, we believe in diversity in all things. What we don't believe in is hate. And, Ric, your post was dripping with hate. We also believe in - and ardently seek - the truth.

I did not post that comment, I swear. Although, I will note that "Art is my God" assuredly meant to direct users to the wsws.org rather than the generic search site at wsws.com. And, I will note that that comment could have been much better. Nevertheless, that comment has received rave reviews:

Not that many black folks in eastern Tennessee, of course. (Western NC is also pretty darn white, too.) Knoxville may have a decent-sized black and Hispanic population, but get outside Knoxville and head out towards Johnson City, and you're in the land of the pale and blotchy. (Although Johnson City is surprisingly gay-friendly.)

Is essentially true. Well, minus the pale and blotchy, most are outdoor laborors and have a very dark tan, and the obvious connotation that we are racist.
I live in Knoxville and went to the University in Johnson City. Most Black Americans live in Knoxville and Morristown.
Most of the mountainous part of the state has no problems with black people living with them and have a few scattered about. There are counties where it would not be advised (then again there are some pretty large parts of knoxville and morristown it would be advised I do not visit thier, let alone live there, for my skin color). For whatever reasons they choose not to live there, the places where they would not be welcomed I wouldn't want to live there even if they would let me (they typically do not like outsiders to move in either). Don't take that to mean many areas, those areas are very small and isolated. In fact, I found less racism in rural Tennessee than I did in large northern cities.
Johnson City has a great deal of homosexuals also. Numbers wise, let alone percentage wise, ETSU had more homosexuals than the University of Tennessee. The dorm I lived in was about 50% homosexual, I do not know about other dorms.
I rather suspect that cultural reasons account for most of it, you also almost never see a black land surveyor - *shrug*.

Are you intentionally attempting to decieve your readers, or just mistaken? I guess I'll be able to tell by whether or not you delete this post.
Anyways, here's that comment you imply that Atrios deleted, right on the comment page with the rest of them.
