Clinton recalls visiting New Zealand in 1999 for an Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum and wrote that his "biggest thrill" of the visit was meeting Edmund Hillary. However, the book fails to mention that the New Zealander reached the summit of the world's highest mountain in 1953, about six years after Hillary Clinton was born, NZPA noted. (Kyodo News)
