Oh, I'm sorry, here's the correct headline:
I don't want Bush to win, but I certainly don't want Kerry to win. But, as when we're watching baseball and the score is 11-3, we frequently wish the other team would get just a few more runs just so it was at least a game. While I don't dislike Gephardt personally, for the sake of having at least a contest it would have been nicer if he'd chosen Edwards or even Howard Dean. On the upside, Gephardt will help Lurch look like Mr. Excitement.
Of course, this could all be a false rumor started by either Kerry, Gephardt, or even someone else. A likely suspect might be Howard Dean, in an attempt to give Kerry last minute second thoughts.
