It's a bit complicated. I haven't taken a test in a while, and I don't even know if this is a #2 pencil. But, all I need to do is just fill in all the circles under where it says "Yankees," right?

When I was a kid we picked all Mets. Even before 69 and after 73. One year, Ed Kranepool, who'd been playing forever and should have been pinchhitting, came in and played first when some no-name got hurt. He had a career season, although if I looked back, it probably was only spectacular by mid 70s Met standards. My brothers and I wrote him in as a candidate on dozens of ballots. I think that cured me of AllStar ballots. When did we go to #2 pencils? We had to punch out the chads when I was a kid.
